OnePlus Nord CE6 offers 8,000 mAh battery and IP69K at mid-range pricing

The latest "Core Edition" from OnePlus is here, and brings a number of significant upgrades compared to the Nord CE5. This starts with the body, which is IP69K-certified on the new OnePlus Nord CE6 and therefore waterproof. The display should respond accurately to inputs even when it is wet.
OnePlus has installed a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,272 pixels, a frame rate of 144 Hz and a peak HDR brightness of 3,600 nits. A PWM frequency of 3,840 Hz is designed to prevent visible flickering. According to OnePlus, the integrated stereo speakers achieve a 300 percent higher volume than the previous model. The 32 megapixel selfie camera can record 4K videos. OnePlus saves a little money on the rear cameras, as the Nord CE6 only has a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera with a tiny 1/2.88 inch sensor, which is only supported by a 2 MP sensor.
The highlight of the specs is the battery, which has a capacity of 8,000 mAh. This should be enough for ten hours of gaming, 17.5 hours of GPS navigation or 30 hours of video streaming, according to OnePlus. Charging is handled via USB-C at up to 80 watts, wireless charging is not possible. Thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with four ARM Cortex-A720 performance cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores, the smartphone should offer reasonable performance.
