A new leak has now thrown more light on the upcoming OnePlus 13. Supposedly, the next-gen OnePlus flagship will swap out two of the camera sensors on the OnePlus 12, with the ultra-wide camera getting a higher-res sensor.

OnePlus may still be releasing new colorways for the OnePlus 12—six months after its initial debut in China—but the company is already working on its next-gen flagship, the OnePlus 13. A new leak has now thrown more light on the camera credentials of that device.

As shared by reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 13 is set to debut with a triple 50 MP camera setup. Ergo, a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP zoom snapper, and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The OnePlus 12 already features a 50 MP main camera but opts for a 64 MP telephoto camera and a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.

While the telephoto camera looks set to use a lower resolution sensor than on the OnePlus 12 (buy on Amazon), Digital Chat Station claims it will be an upgrade, which hints at the 50 MP sensor being a larger unit than the OnePlus 12's 64 MP camera. Lastly, that telephoto unit is tipped to be a 3x periscope lens with Hasselblad's Master Tone.

In addition to camera changes, the OnePlus 13 is expected to mark a significant deviation from the rear designs of the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12. Display-wise, a micro-curved straight screen is mooted.
