Nintendo Direct presents over 30 new games, including some highlights

Metroid Prime: 4 Beyond

Nintendo has unveiled the long-awaited next installment in the Metroid Prime series. Since the release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption in August 2007, fans have been waiting for a sequel. The gameplay remains in the first-person perspective, but further details about the story have not yet been revealed. The release is planned for 2025.

Update for Nintendo Switch Sports (Basketball)

A free update for Nintendo Switch Sports brings basketball as a new sport to the game this summer. The original game, which was released in 2022, already offers local and global multiplayer. In the new mode, up to four players can compete for free throws.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

For the first time, Princess Zelda becomes the main protagonist in a Zelda game. In Echoes of Wisdom, she must collect mysterious "Echoes of Wisdom" to save Hyrule from a new threat. The game features typical Zelda elements such as exploration, puzzles and battles. The release date has already been set for September 26, 2024.

Super Mario Party Jamboree

Super Mario Party Jamboree brings the largest collection of mini-games in the series - over 110 of them. The game features seven game boards, including well-known locations such as the Gumba Lagoon and Mario's Rainbow Castle. With the Bowserathlon, the game, which will be released on October 17, 2024, brings the first online competition in the series for up to 20 players.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership

Mario and Luigi set sail for Kapitarbora in their new adventure and explore the world of Konektania. The Mario Brothers can attack with dynamic pair attacks and use brother moves to overcome obstacles and win battles. The release is scheduled for November 7, 2024.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD

The HD remake of the 2D platformer brings back Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, who must free their supply of bananas from the clutches of the Tiki Tak tribe. The game, which is scheduled for release on January 16, 2025, contains all the levels from the Wii and 3DS versions and offers a local two-player mode.
