The Epic Games Store is giving away another free game this week. Described as a horror RPG, the game is available to play on Windows and Mac with low system requirements.

Epic Games has switched up its free game of the week giveaway, To recap, the company has been allowing Epic Games account holders to download Freshly Frosted from its storefront and keep the title indefinitely. Additionally, last week's giveaway included a series of Rumble Club in-game items, full details of which we have covered separately.

This time, Epic Games has discounted Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition, a horror roleplaying game (RPG) that was initially released in 2019. As such, the game has relatively low system requirements by today's standards. Specifically, Fallbetter Games recommends that a Windows system has a 2 GHz AMD or Intel Pentium CPU, 4 GB of RAM and a DirectX 9-level GPU that supports at least DX9 shader model 3.0. Alternatively, Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition should run on pretty much an Mac that has Mac OS X 10.9 or later installed.

For reference, storefronts like Epic Games and Steam typically sell this week's giveaway for $24.99. However, it will be possible to grab the game for $0.00 between today at 15:00 UTC and 14:49 UTC on July 4. Please see the associated Epic Games Store listing for more redemption details.
