New compact Xiaomi Watch S4 smartwatch goes global with up to 8 days of battery life

Xiaomi introduced the Watch S4 41 mm in China in June 2025, and the compact smartwatch has now officially landed outside China. In the EU, the starting price is €159.99, while the variant with the Milanese Strap goes for €219.99.

As for the smartwatch itself, the 41 mm Watch S4 comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display. This screen has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and is rated for up to 1,500 nits of brightness. While it has a slim and compact overall form factor, it's said to be packed with health and fitness tracking features.

For example, the new Xiaomi smartwatch comes with a redesigned heart rate module, which is said to offer precise measurements, especially during physical exertion. There's support for sleep monitoring, and the Watch S4 41 mm can offer a 21-day sleep optimization guide for building a better sleep habit.

With a dual-band GNSS module, the 41 mm Xiaomi Watch S4 promises reliable GPS tracking, making it an ideal pick for outdoor activities like cycling and hiking. The company also highlights that the smartwatch has over 150 sports modes, including skiing and swimming.

Other than that, the smartwatch comes with skin temperature tracking, promising enhanced female cycle prediction. There's support for platforms like Suunto and Health Connect, allowing users to get a better idea of their fitness progress through the data collected by the watch. However, it's worth noting that the Watch S4 41 mm runs Xiaomi's proprietary HyperOS 2, and not Wear OS (40 mm Galaxy Watch 7 curr. $199.99 on Amazon).

Another notable aspect of this compact Xiaomi Watch S4 is the battery life. The company claims that it can offer up to 8 days of runtime when used lightly. Among the other highlights are customizable widgets, a rotating crown, a vlog mode for remotely controlling a connected phone, and a dedicated SOS button.
