New budget Xiaomi power bank debuts globally with 20,000mAh capacity and improved safety features

Xiaomi has confirmed its intention to release a new budget power bank globally with a 22.5 W peak output. Incidentally, the company is in the process of releasing 45 W and 67 W alternatives, too. For reference, the company has called these the Power Bank 20000 45W Boost (Integrated Cable) and 67W Power Bank 20000 (Integrated Cable) 2027, respectively.
According to Xiaomi's website, the Power Bank 20000 (Integrated Cable) 2027 is the lightest of its three new power banks at roughly 343 g. Nonetheless, the company equips this power bank with the same 20,000 mAh and 74 Wh capacity as its higher-wattage peers. In that sense, the Power Bank 20000 (Integrated Cable) 2027 surpasses Xiaomi's smaller power banks, like the Ultra Slim that it launched last year (curr. $42.99 on Amazon).
Additionally, the 2027 edition contains a built-in USB Type-C cable, as well as USB Type-A and Type-C ports to match its 45 W sibling. Moreover, Xiaomi asserts that the 2027 edition features improved battery safety features. As the image below shows, the power bank integrates over a dozen safety features to mitigate against fires or explosions.
Also, one can monitor battery information via a web portal when connecting the power bank to a laptop or desktop. The Power Bank 20000 (Integrated Cable) 2027 can charge three devices simultaneously, too. However, Xiaomi's theoretical combined output drops from 22.5 W to 15 W in this scenario. Xiaomi has not confirmed pricing or availability yet. Please see the company's website for more details.
