MagyarNew Model C smartwatch with 4G, AMOLED, Android and large battery launches at a low price
Rogbid stands for inexpensive smartwatches. Even if its business practices are sometimes dubious, some models promise good features, at least on paper. This includes the new Rogbid Model C smartwatch, which recently went on sale.
Here, too, the quality of the smartwatch cannot be assessed without testing. In terms of the specs mentioned, however, the new model certainly sounds interesting. Especially considering its launch price: instead of the manufacturer's recommended retail price of $149.99, Rogbid is offering the new Model C smartwatch, which is only available in black, in its own online store for just $79.99. Shipping costs and taxes are calculated during the order process.
Among other things, the Rogbid Model C comes with its own 4G modem. If a SIM card is inserted into the side of the rather chunky housing, the smartwatch can connect to the mobile network independently and without a smartphone. In addition to Bluetooth 4.2, it also works with 2.4 GHz WiFi.
At its heart is a quad-core processor based on Arm Cortex-A53 cores with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Android 8.1 is installed as the operating system, which enables access to numerous apps in the Google Play Store, among other things.
The AMOLED display measures 2.13 inches and is powered by a generously sized 1,000 mAh battery. The features are rounded off by heart rate and SpO2 measurement, various sports modes, GPS and other functions such as a calendar, alarm clock, music and more.
