New Asus ROG Swift gaming monitor with Tandem OLED and GaNFET technology now available globally
More retail listings for one of Asus' latest 27-inch gaming monitors have popped up across the UK and the US. Specifically, the company is now offering the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM in both markets, having initially released the monitor in the Eurozone a few months ago.
For context, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM was first seen at CES 2026 in January. Five months later, Asus showcased the monitor in June during Computex 2026. At the time, the company mentioned a Q3 2026 release window, albeit without confirming pricing information.
Now, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM has landed in the US for $1,199. Incidentally, this pricing makes Asus' new 27-inch gaming monitor $200 cheaper than the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM, its 32-inch counterpart. Conversely, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM is $100 more expensive than the similar-sounding ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM (curr. $1,099 on Amazon).
For that price increase, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM includes an optional 480 Hz display mode, which the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM lacks. Also, the former contains a TrueBlack Glossy coating, another byproduct of featuring an LG Display-derived WOLED panel, rather than the Samsung Display-derived QD-OLED alternative found in the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM. Moreover, Asus' newer monitor boasts GaNFET technology to minimise power consumption and optimise heat dissipation.
For the time being, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM is out of stock at Asus, B&H Photo Video and Micro Center. However, the monitor can be purchased from Newegg at the time of publication. Meanwhile, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM runs to £998.99 in the UK, with pricing set at €1,149 in the Eurozone. Please see Asus' website for more details about the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM.
