Acer has unveiled three new gaming monitors in the Predator lineup. We’ve already covered the X27U F3, and the Predator X32 X3 and X34 X5 are its larger siblings. Among the two, the X32 X3 comes with a 31.5-inch OLED panel with a high refresh rate, 4K UHD resolution, and 0.03 ms (GTG) response time.
With these specs, the OLED display of the gaming monitor promises super-fast and fluid gameplay. Acer says that you can tailor your experience with the Predator X32 X3 according to your preference with Dynamic Frequency and Resolution. It basically lets you switch between 4K 240 Hz and 1080p 480 Hz.
Besides, the Acer Predator X32 X3 has a versatile array of ports, coming with two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, and one USB Type-C. These allow you to keep the gaming monitor connected to your gaming systems. Other than those, it has two USB 3.2, audio out, and USB-B.
Moving to the Predator X34 X5, this one is the largest of the three gaming monitors that Acer has unveiled, and, unlike the other two, it comes with a curved OLED panel. More specifically, the display has an 1800R curvature, which is considered to be the right choice for lower eye strain. Of course, for that, you also need to consider how close you’re sitting to the monitor.
Nonetheless, the X34 X5’s OLED panel has a UWQHD resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Like the other one, it also has a rated response time of 0.03 ms (GTG), so you can expect a smooth gameplay experience. Also, there is the same selection of ports for versatile connectivity, and the monitor can be connected to both a PC and a console (PlayStation 5 Slim curr. $449 on Amazon).
Both the Acer Predator X32 X3 and X34 X5 have support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync. They will be available in Q3 at $1,099.99 and $1,199.99, respectively.
