Motorola launches new Dolby Atmos 3D earbuds globally with Bose QuietControl ANC

Motorola has presented a new pair of high-end earbuds under its Moto Buds 2 series in most markets. For context, the company already sells the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus in multiple colours (curr. $89 on Amazon). Now, it has expanded the series with the Moto Buds 2 Ultra, which it markets as the Moto Buds Ultra 27 in some countries.
Fundamentally, the Moto Buds 2 Ultra retains its familial design thanks to a wide but short charging case, protruding ear tips and long stems for gesture controls. However, Motorola has added a rubber wing tip to ensure that the earbuds stay securely in place even when exercising.
Moreover, the company's new earbuds boast up to 8 hours of battery life between charges. With that said, it is unclear whether this battery estimate applies when Bose's QuietControl active noise cancellation (ANC) or its Transparency mode is enabled, though. Nonetheless, Motorola also markets the earbuds as offering up to 37 hours of battery life with its charging case factored in.
Setting that aside, the Moto Buds 2 Ultra features 11 mm dynamic drivers, Dolby Atmos 3D support and can be charged wirelessly when needed. Motorola claims that it will be releasing the Moto Buds 2 Ultra in the 'coming weeks' for €199 (~$225) in the Eurozone. While the company adds that the earbuds will be coming to Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific, it has not revealed precise availability or regional pricing yet.
