The Motorola Signature 27 has been launched, and as expected, this Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 flagship is quite expensive. It has a retail price of €1,899 in the EU, but the company is betting on the super-bright AMOLED display, 200MP camera setup, and the 7,000mAh battery to make it attractive to potential buyers.

Motorola announced the Signature 27 made its official debut back in August 2026, and recently the brand revealed some specs of the flagship camera phone through a collaboration with a YouTuber. Now, the smartphone has an official price, and as expected, it's not coming with an affordable tag.

In the EU, the flagship phone will retail for €1,899, which is much higher than the expected €1,449 starting price of the Xiaomi 18 Pro. Of course, Motorola has plenty of premium features up its sleeve, with the "Extreme AMOLED Duo" being one of the highlights.

The company claims that this 6.8-inch tandem AMOLED display has a peak brightness rating of 12,000 nits. To compare, the top-end Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has a peak brightness rating of 4,000 nits, the iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 3,000-nit rating, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra maxes out at 2,600 nits.

This bright AMOLED display has a "1.5K" resolution, and with Dolby Vision, it should offer an enhanced content viewing experience. The camera setup is another highlight, with Motorola claiming that the Signature 27 has achieved the DxOMark Gold Label for the "industry-leading" image quality.

On the back, the phone sports a 200MP periscope sensor with 3x optical zoom and 100x Super Zoom Pro. It's paired with a 50MP Sony Lytia L910 primary camera, and this LOFIC sensor promises bright, detailed, and balanced images and videos. There's a 50MP ultrawide and a dedicated EVS action sensor, which is said to be a "world's first" in a smartphone.

Per Motorola, the EVS action sensor will open more possibilities in smartphone photography, making it easier to capture moving subjects and improving the overall clarity in fast shots. On the front, the Motorola Signature 27 has a 50MP selfie shooter.

The Motorola Signature 27 packs the next-gen Qualcomm SoC and a relatively large battery as well

Under the hood, the Signature 27 has the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, and Motorola says that it's paired with an advanced cooling setup. A 7,000mAh battery powers the internals, which might not be as large as some of the recently launched Chinese flagship phones, but it's 35% larger than the 2026 Motorola Signature.

Other highlights include a Bang & Olufsen audio setup, GrapheneOS support, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and 90W fast charging support with 50W wireless charging (160W Ugreen Nexode Pro curr. $64.99 on Amazon). The Signature 27 is set to be available with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. More details can be found on the official website.
