Motorola: New premium foldable launches globally with larger battery and new 50 MP camera

Motorola has introduced multiple new smartphones today, including three fresh Razr foldables. While the Razr 70 is the cheapest foldable that Motorola sells, it is a fair bit more expensive than the outgoing Razr 60 (curr. $599 on Amazon).
For context, Motorola presented the Razr 60 last year for €799 in the Eurozone starting with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. This year, the Razr 70 has landed in the same market for €869 (~$1,015). Motorola has upgraded its entry-level Razr in only a few areas though, despite the 8.7% price increase.
For 2026, the cheapest Razr features a 4,800 mAh battery while retaining 15 W wireless and 30 W wired charging support. Additionally, the Razr 70 swaps last year's 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera for a 50 MP equivalent that also jumps to an f/2.0 aperture and a 122° FoV. The 50 MP primary and 32 MP internal cameras from the Razr 60 return, though.
Likewise, Motorola continues to install 3.6-inch cover and 6.9-inch displays. Both AMOLED panels, the pair deliver the same 1,700 nits and 3,000 nits peak brightnesses as last year's models. Only the inner display offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, too. The Razr 70 also finds itself with the Dimensity 7450X, a new MediaTek chipset that appears to contain the same hardware as the older Dimensity 7400X that powers its predecessor.
