More affordable Garmin alternative with offline maps and AMOLED display launches with discount

Regular readers may already be familiar with the manufacturer Mibro. The company is now launching a new smartwatch—the Mibro AeroPace—that aims to stand out primarily through a strong price-to-performance ratio. The Mibro AeroPace carries a list price of $200 / €200, though a 25% discount coupon is currently available on Amazon. Nevertheless, the wearable faces steep competition.
Offline map support is typically missing from Garmin’s ecosystem at this price point, yet direct competitors do offer the feature. This includes the Amazfit Active 2, which is currently available for around $150 on Amazon and has received significant software updates since our review.
On the hardware front, the Mibro AeroPace features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a claimed peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Battery life is rated at up to 8 days with typical use, or up to 12 hours with continuous GPS tracking. Dual-band positioning is supported alongside GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.In terms of sensors, the smartwatch tracks heart rate and includes a barometer, accelerometer, and digital compass. Rated water-resistant to 5 ATM, it also offers sleep tracking, smartphone notification syncing, and Bluetooth hands-free calling when connected to a smartphone.
