Massive AMD graphics card surfaces featuring what appear to be four Radeon RX 470 GPUs on a single board

The images surfaced in a post on X by user „GOK@GOKForFree“. His main focus appears to be sharing images of previously unreleased graphics card prototypes and development boards from AMD, Nvidia, and Intel. For example, in late 2025, he published AMD's reference design for the Radeon RX 7700 XT, as well as prototype images of Intel's Battlemage GPUs.
This means the newly surfaced board could be a physical engineering sample. In his latest post, dated November 3, 2026, he shares images of a PCIe board with the caption: "Might be the biggest PCIE graphic card in the world....?"

Near the bottom, close to the PCIe connector, an AMD marking and logo are visible. But instead of a single GPU chip, there appear to be four large GPU packages arranged in a 2×2 configuration. The GPU dies are directly visible, without a conventional heat spreader. Several GDDR memory chips are positioned around each GPU. Their number suggests 8 GB of video memory per GPU, adding up to 32 GB in total, although this has not been confirmed.
The board is also strikingly large. Another image shows the back of the red GPU board, while a separate photo reveals a motherboard in the background. The graphics card takes up considerably more space than the motherboard itself.
Another notable feature is the board's extensive power delivery circuitry. This is hardly surprising with four GPUs on a single board, as the numerous inductors and power transistors suggest a substantial overall power load.
The theory that this could be a board featuring four Radeon RX 470 GPUs comes from Wccftech. What the board was originally designed for remains unclear. AMD may have been considering a compact cryptocurrency mining solution, or it may simply have been exploring multi-GPU concepts, power delivery, PCB layouts, or parallel GPU computing.
