Computex 2024 | MSI unveils PRO MP252 E2 and PRO MP271A E2 monitors with 120 Hz refresh rate

MSI has unveiled two monitors at Computex 2024 alongside the high-end MPG 341CQPX. They're upgraded versions of the existing MSI PRO MP252 and MSI PRO MP271A SKUs and called the MSI PRO MP252 E2 and MSI PRO MP271A E2. The primary difference is a bump to 120 Hz refresh rate on both models from 100 Hz. Otherwise, they seem to be more or less identical to their last-gen counterparts.

The MSI PRO MP252 E2 comes with a 24.5-inch IPS panel with an IPS LCD panel with FHD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution.It has a response time of 1 ms, 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage and 300 nits peak brightness. For I/O, there's one HDMI 2.0b port, one DP 1.4 port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The larger MSI PRO MP271A E2 comes with a 27-inch panel with mostly the same specs, but covers 108% of the sRGB colour space and offers a VGA port on top of HDMI 2.0b and DP 1.4.

Both monitors have a pair of in-built speakers (2 Watts). MSI claims it has reduced the bottom bezel's size by 37% on the MSI PRO MP252 E2 and MSI PRO MP271A E2. They come with a phone holder on the stand that can accommodate most smartphones with ease. The company will announce the price and availability of both monitors at a later date.
