Logitech releases new Mac focused MX keyboard and mouse peripherals from $79.99

Logitech has expanded its MX Keys portfolio with the MX Keys S for Mac, which the company claims is the 'ultimate productivity keyboard'. Additionally, Logitech remarks that the MX Keys S for Mac provides comfortable and precise typing, although this could also apply to the keyboard's predecessors. However, the company insists that the keyboard has an updated dedicated Mac layout with 'smarter illumination' too.

Moreover, the MX Keys S for Mac retains Logitech's Smart Actions functionality, which can be customised within the Logi Option+ app. Fundamentally, the MX Keys S for Mac offers the same features as the MX Keys S that Logitech released a year ago. Thus, the former should last up to 10 days between charges with its backlight enabled or 5 months with backlighting switched off altogether.

Similarly, the MX Keys S for Mac can be purchased as the MX Keys S Combo for Mac with the MX Master 3S for Mac and MX Palm Rest. Incidentally, Logitech has used today's announcement to launch the MX Anywhere 3S for Mac too, which it advertises as containing an 8,000 DPI sensor with 'ultra-fast scrolling' and 'quiet clicks'.
