Lenovo releases new budget laptop with 16 hours battery life

Just over a month has passed since Lenovo released its first Googlebook-branded laptop. Now, it has returned with the cheaper Chromebook m 15 Gen 10 across multiple countries, including the US. In short, the Chromebook m Gen 10 15" is a larger alternative to Lenovo's existing 14-inch option (curr. $309 on Amazon) that adds a built-in number pad.
Reportedly, MediaTek's Kompanio 540 chipset, a 50 Wh battery and a 1200p IPS display ensure that the Chromebook m Gen 10 15" lasts 16 hours in Google's Power Load Test. For reference, the 15-inch laptop can recharge at up to 65 W, too. Also, Lenovo's display option boasts 400 nits peak brightness with a 60 Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC colour space coverage and a 1,200:1 contrast ratio.
The Chromebook m 15 starts at CAD 719.99 and $519.99 in Canada and the US, respectively. Meanwhile, the same 15-inch laptop starts at JPY 81,180 (~$515) in Japan, discounted from an alleged JPY 108,680 (~$690) MSRP. By contrast, Lenovo lists the laptop as being out of stock for now in other markets.
According to Lenovo PSREF, the Chromebook m 15 should be available with 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage and 4 GB or 8 GB of soldered LPDDR5X-6400 RAM. However, all markets have received a variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
