The RTX 4070-equipped gaming laptop from Lenovo has returned to its all-time low price as the capable Core i9 configuration of the Legion Pro 5i 16 has been treated to a large $600 discount on eBay.

A mid-range gaming laptop with a dedicated RTX 4070 graphics card might still be the best choice for gaming enthusiasts who don't want to max out their credit card for a new 16-inch machine. In such cases, the attractive Lenovo Legion Pro 5i might be a suitable choice.

In another gaming notebook deal on eBay, the Legion Pro 5i with the Intel Core i9-13900HX and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 with a TGP of 140 watts has now dropped back to its lowest sale price since last year as Antonline grants a $600 discount on the QHD-capable laptop. Since Lenovo's official list price for this configuration with 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD stands at $1,969, gamers can save 30% by taking advantage of this limited time sale and grabbing the RTX 4070 laptop for $1,369.

Before buying, please refer to our detailed review for further information on the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8, but please note that our test unit was equipped with entirely different components compared the more powerful RTX 4070 model which is on sale here. For instance, this version comes with the better 240Hz IPS display with G-Sync, a QHD resolution and up to 500 nits, while our 165Hz panel maxed out at 400 nits.

Aside from the pretty lofty price, short runtimes and bulky chassis, we liked what the Lenovo gaming laptop has to offer. Since the Legion Pro 5 has become considerably cheaper since its launch last year, the 16-inch notebook has turned into a mentionable mid-range offering that is worth a look for buyers with a budget of under $1,500.
