The HiSilicon Kirin 710A is a ARM-based mid-range Octa-Core-SoC for Android based smartphones and tablets. It is based on the Kirin 710, but manufactured in 14nm FinFET at SMIC (China) versus the TSMC in 12nm. It was announced mid 2020 and contains 8 processor cores (4x Cortex-A73 at up to 2 GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at up to 1.7 GHz, BigLITTLE), an ARM Mali G51 MP4, a dual-channel LPDDR4 memory controller and a LTE radio (600 Mbps down, 150 Mbps up). Therefore, the CPU part is similar to the Kirin 960 and 970 (both higher clocked), but the graphics card is a lot slower.
The HiSilicon Kirin 935 is an ARM-based octa-core SoC (system-on-a-chip) for smartphones and tablets. It was launched in the first half of 2015. It integrates two quad-core clusters of Cortex-A53 cores (big.LITTLE). The performance cluster clocks at up to 2.2 GHz, the power saving cluster at up to 1.5 GHz. Furthermore, the SoC integrates a ARM Mali-T628 MP4 graphics card and LTE Cat. 6 modem. The SoC is manufactured in 28nm and thanks to the small Cortex-A53 cores also suited for smaller smartphones.
The Marvell Armada PXA1908 is an ARM based low end SoC for smartphones and tablets. The chip was announced in late 2014 and integrates four 64-Bit Cortex-A53 processor cores with up to 1.2 GHz. As a graphics card, the SoC integrates a Vivante GC7000UL. Furthermore, a LPDDR2/3 memory controller and a HSPA+/WCDMA/LTE Cat. 4 (max. 150 Mbit/s) radio is integrated. The SoC is manufactured in 28nm and also suited for small smartphones.
