Insomniac reiterates more Wolverine news will be revealed this Spring

Insomniac Games' Marvel's Wolverine already has a release date, but before it arrives, the game studio plans to provide more details about the game this spring. Considering Sony had a State of Play event a few weeks ago with no mention of the upcoming game, there are speculations the announcement may have been delayed or cancelled. However, that isn't the case.
The game studio recently made a post on X reiterating the release date for the game which is on September 15, 2026. However, a handful of comments were actually questions asking if more details would still be released this Spring.
Insomniac Games has responded to those questions by confirming it still has more details to share about the game this spring. There's still at least a month before the end of spring, so there's a chance the showcase may happen in May.
Whether it will be a dedicated showcase for just Wolverine or it will include other games remains to be seen. Notwithstanding, it is expected that it will include gameplay, pre-order bonuses, pricing, details about a special/deluxe/collector's edition, and maybe even the unveiling of limited edition hardware such as a controller or console.
Marvel's Wolverine is Insomniac Games' fourth Marvel video game, coming after Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2. The title is reported to be the first of a trilogy of X-Men games, and will be available for PS5 and PS5 Pro only. It is available to wishlist now on the PlayStation Store.
