Huawei said to unveil wide flagship smartphone from brand-new series soon

According to the latest information from the highly reliable leakers Digital Chat Station and Fixed Focus Digital, Huawei is planning to launch a brand-new smartphone series called "Starlight" very soon. The first smartphone in this series is reportedly set to be marketed as the Starlight O1 Pro and is likely to bear a strong resemblance to the Huawei Pura X View.
The smartphone is said to feature a 6.39-inch screen with a particularly wide aspect ratio – the Pura X View uses just such a display with a 5:3 aspect ratio. As a result, the smartphone measures 144 x 87 millimeters, making it 6 millimeters shorter but 15 millimeters wider than the Apple iPhone 18 Pro ($1,439 on Amazon). The Huawei Starlight O1 Pro is likely to be positioned as a flagship smartphone, as the device will reportedly be offered with 12 GB to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB to 1 TB of flash storage, while a flagship ARM chip from the HiSilicon Kirin 9 series is expected to power it.
The Starlight O1 Pro reportedly uses a new camera module design, so it is unlikely to be merely a rebranded Pura X View. The launch is expected as early as November, but no further details about its specifications are available yet. For comparison: The Huawei Pura X View uses a 6,500-nit, 120 Hz AMOLED panel, a 7,000 mAh battery with 50-watt wireless charging, and a triple-camera system comprising a 200 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom.
