Honor unveils three smartphones with secondary displays, flagship said to offer 200 MP and 9,000 mAh

Honor is already accepting reservations for the new Honor 700 series in China, and has taken the opportunity to release official product images of all three models. There is one particular surprise: unlike the Honor 600 5G ($679 on Amazon), even the base Honor 700 model features a secondary display on the back.
In fact, all three models share practically the same design, from the flat metal frame and the display with particularly narrow bezels to the wide, rectangular camera module. The Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro have three rear cameras each, while the Honor 700S offers only two cameras and is therefore likely to be positioned as the most affordable model in the series.
The square secondary display can show the time and incoming notifications, among other things, but should also allow higher-quality selfies to be taken with the main camera and the ultra-wide-angle camera. While the two more expensive models are offered with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, the Honor 700S is limited to a maximum of 12 GB and 512 GB respectively. All three models are available in a choice of white, pink, blue or black.
Honor has not yet confirmed any further details about the specifications or launch date. Rumors suggest that the Honor 700 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 while the Honor 700 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The top model is also said to offer a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel, a 200-megapixel main camera and a 9,000 mAh battery.
