Honor gaming phone with a flagship Snapdragon and a 12,070mAh battery opens pre-orders

Pre-orders for the Honor WIN RT 2 are open on the company's online store in China. The listing requires a CNY 100 (about $14) deposit and shows no final price. A launch event is scheduled for October 21 at 14:30 GMT+8 in China.
The store page lists four memory configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB. Three colorways are offered: Red Blue Buff, Black (快开黑) and White (指定赢). Pre-order buyers receive a WIN 2.0 gift box, along with one year each of screen, back cover and water damage protection, plus two years of battery service.
Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station says the phone has a 2K display with an 185Hz refresh rate and very narrow bezels, though exact measurements were not disclosed. Other reported specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 12,070mAh battery, an active cooling fan and dual 1216 symmetric stereo speakers. The original Honor WIN RT has a 10,000mAh battery, so the reported capacity is about 21% higher. Honor has not confirmed global availability. The original WIN series has been sold only in mainland China, so buyers elsewhere would likely need to import the phone.
