Hisense has launched the S7N CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV in North America. The model is similar to Samsung's The Frame, with an ultra-slim wall mount, teak frame and Art Mode. Other features include a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium and support for Dolby Vision.

The Hisense S7N CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV has been launched in the US. Designed to be disguised as art in your living room, the model was unveiled earlier this year and shares similarities with Samsung’s The Frame. The CanvasTV is currently offered in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch.

The S7N CanvasTV’s Art Mode lets you choose from a range of artworks or display your photos when not in use; the motion detection tool means that the screen is only active when you are in the room to save energy. The Hi-Matte display adds to the art effect by reducing glare. You can choose from a range of magnetic frame colors, and an ultra-slim wall mount means it hangs almost flush with the wall.

The 4K QLED LCD TV has a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR and a 480 motion rate, alongside support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG. The brightness and color temperature are automatically adjusted thanks to an RGB light sensor, and the smart TV uses a Google TV interface. This means you can control the TV with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice commands, and it also works with Apple HomeKit. Gaming features include AMD FreeSync Premium, ALLM and the Game Bar.

On top of this, there are built-in 36W speakers, compatible with DTS Virtual X, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and ports including HDMI 2.1 (4K@144Hz, eARC), HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0. The Hisense S7N CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV is listed at US retailers like Best Buy and is said to be “Coming Soon”. The 55-inch and 65-inch sizes retail for $999.99 and $1,299.99, respectively.
