HP releases compact keyboard mini PC with AMD Gorgon Point and up to 32 GB RAM

With the EliteBoard series, HP fits a full-blown Copilot+ PC into a slim keyboard, much like the Raspberry Pi 500 but with more powerful AMD hardware. The series debuted at CES 2026 with the Krackan Point-powered EliteBoard G1a, which we have since reviewed. Less than a year later, HP has already released a follow-up.
The new EliteBoard G2a keeps the same design but switches to newer AMD Gorgon Point processors. Prices start at $3,028 for the base configuration with a Ryzen AI 5 Pro 435, 16 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. Like the original, it comes with either an integrated USB4 cable or a detachable cable. The detachable-cable version starts at $3,053.
HP also offers a higher-end configuration with the Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450, 32 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. It costs $4,167 with the integrated cable or $4,191 with a detachable one. This model also gets the slightly more powerful Radeon 860M graphics instead of the Radeon 840M in the Ryzen AI 5 PRO 435. That said, both processors include a 50 TOPS NPU for local AI tasks.
Still, the compact design is the main draw here. The entire PC fits inside a keyboard measuring 14.1 x 4.7 x 0.7 inches and weighing 1.49 lb. Up top is a full-size keyboard with low-profile keycaps, a number pad, a function row, and a Copilot key. The motherboard and other components sit underneath, but you can still upgrade the RAM and SSD, or replace the keyboard itself.
Connectivity is limited, though. The EliteBoard connects to a compatible USB-C monitor via USB4. There's also an additional 10 Gbps USB-C port for accessories or a second monitor. You won’t find USB-A ports or Ethernet, though it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
