With that being said, Roland Quandt has now provided evidence that HP could be returning to a long-lost brand to showcase Qualcomm's first-generation Snapdragon X chipsets. As the images below show, HP has created a new OmniBook laptop, 22 years after the series' last release. In short, the laptop looks like plenty of other modern ultrabooks, including the MacBook Air 13 (curr. $999 on Amazon).
Specifically, the new HP OmniBook has a wider trackpad, a six-row keyboard and minimal I/O. Moreover, it appears that HP has equipped the laptop with a 14-inch display, which is sandwiched by relatively thick top and bottom bezels. Unfortunately, Quandt has not provided any detailed specifications yet, including its processor options. Nonetheless, HP's focus on including AI branding implies that it has chosen the Qualcomm Snapdragon X series, which could be a requirement for Windows 11's forthcoming 'AI Explorer'.
