Godox launches tiny camera flash for just $25

Godox is adding the iM10, an equally compact but even lighter flash, alongside the already very compact iM20 ($34 on Amazon). The flash measures just 4 x 4 x 3 centimeters and weighs 23 grams, yet still features a built-in 125 mAh battery that is said to provide enough energy for 350 photos at maximum power.
The battery charges via USB-C, with a full charge taking around 70 minutes. The power can be adjusted in four steps using a button on the top, while the second button turns the flash on and off. However, Godox does not specify the flash's power output; based on the energy consumption per flash, it is likely to be around half that of the iM20.
To keep the price as low as possible, Godox does without automatic flash control – the power must be set manually. This at least has the advantage that the Godox iM10 is compatible with most cameras with an active hot shoe, without having to buy a different version of the flash for each camera brand.
Pricing and availability
The Godox iM10 camera flash is available now for $24.90 on B&H, and Godox includes only a USB-C cable alongside the flash. Further details can be found on the official product page.
