The Gigabyte MO32U2 is another QD-OLED monitor with a screen diagonal of 31.5 inches, although Gigabyte is clearly targeting video gamers here. The model has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz and a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03 milliseconds. A DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification is advertised, which is supposed to display high-contrast content very well, while VESA ClearMR 13000 refers to the sharp display of rapidly changing image content, as is often the case with video games. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is supported, and compatibility with G-Sync is provided. A maximum brightness of 1,000 cd/m² is specified, although this high brightness can only be displayed on 3% of the screen area at a time.
According to Gigabyte, the DCI-P3 color space is covered at 99% with a color deviation of Delta E less than 2. Of course, this information only applies to the as-delivered state. The features are extensive. Not only can image content be delivered to the Gigabyte MO32U2 via two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4 ports, but USB-C is also available, which supports USB PD with a maximum of 18 watts. A USB 3.2 hub with two ports is also on board. A KVM function is integrated, allowing multiple players to be operated with just one keyboard and mouse when connected to the monitor and then switched accordingly. Two speakers with an output of five watts each are installed, but video gamers are likely to prefer a headset or sound system.
