With an 800W motor that can peak at 1,500W, a 40-mile estimated range and a "triple braking" system integrated into an IP5X-rated chassis, the Yadea ElitePrime is touted as the ulimate electric scooter for adults. Now, it is on sale at ~30% off its original RRP, while its newer, yet slightly less powerful, EliteMax sibling is $100 off.

Yadea touts its ElitePrime as the "SUV" of electric scooters thanks to its "sharp and smooth" design that packs safety- and efficiency-conscious perks such as "triple" braking and dual suspension - which you might want in an 800W machine rated to go at up to 1,500W when it encounters more steeply sloping streets.

The ElitePrime made it to retail following a successful Indiegogo campaign at a recommended price of $1,299.99; however, Yadea is now letting it go for $899.99 for a limited time.

Those who need to spend a bit less could consider the scooter's new 500~800W EliteMax sibling instead. It is gray where the ElitePrime is black, and has a rated capacity of 10Ah rather than 14.5Ah for a reduced estimated range of 34 miles.

It is also on sale via the official Yadea online store for $100 off its $799.99 RRP right now. Then again, it should be noted that both of these Elite-series scooters are rated to go at no more than ~20 miles per hour (mph), and take at least 7 hours to charge.

Other current Yadea deals include the cruiser-style Trooper 01 fat-tire, 750W "Comfortable Dual Suspension" e-bike at $300 off its typical $2,199 price.
