Garmin releases new update to flagship smartwatches with fresh stable rollout

Last week, Garmin finally released its first beta update for the Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro. Additionally, Beta Version 7.13 served as the first update of any kind for the Enduro 4, which debuted at the start of October (curr. $899 on Amazon).
As we discussed at the time, Beta Version 7.13 introduced dozens of improvements. Specifically, Garmin mentioned 35 changes, including 5 new features and multiple other improvements beyond bug fixes. For context, v7.13 replaced v6.73 for Beta Program participants.
Now, Garmin has introduced a new stable update for Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro owners. However, the new update does not represent recent v7.xx development. Instead, the company has returned to its stable software division with a direct replacement for System Software 6.73.
In a forum post, Garmin explains that System Software 6.74 should have already reached all Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro smartwatches running stable software. For reference, one can request a new software update manually by navigating through the main menu on a Fenix 9 series smartwatch to Settings, System and Software Update before selecting 'Check for Updates'.
Curiously, the new update omits the Enduro 4 altogether. Described as a minor update, System Software 6.74 is said to make miscellaneous bug fixes from System Software 6.73. Unfortunately, Garmin has not revealed what exact changes it has made, nor when v7.xx development will reach stable status. Please see Garmin's forum post for more details about System Software 6.74.
