Garmin releases new update to Fenix 9 Pro with maps and display improvements

Earlier this week, Garmin issued its first beta update for the Fenix 9 Pro. Released a few months ago (curr. $1,099 on Amazon), the Fenix 9 Pro is currently being kept on a different beta cycle than the Enduro 4 or Fenix 9.
Specifically, those two remain on Beta Version 7.13 for the time being. By contrast, the Fenix 9 Pro has now moved ahead to Beta Version 7.15, having received Beta Version 7.14 a few days ago. An over-the-air (OTA) update, Beta Version 7.15arrives with Dive and ECG still disabled. Hence, we can reasonably expect Garmin to release more v7.xx beta builds before transitioning development to its stable software branch.
Allegedly, Beta Version 7.15 has already been offered to all Beta Program participants with Fenix 9 Pro smartwatches. If that has not occurred in your case, Beta Version 7.15 can be downloaded manually by navigating through the smartwatch’s main menu to Settings, System and Software Update before selecting ‘Check for Updates’.
Once updated, the Fenix 9 Pro should no longer encounter issues with binding and unbinding Alipay services.Additionally, Garmin claims to have improved map loading performance when ‘many maps’ have already been installed. Finally, the company asserts that Beta Version 7.15 contains multiple display improvements. Please see Garmin’s accompanying forum post for more details about its latest scenic 9 Pro update.
