Over the past months, we have heard interesting, and sometimes conflicting, rumors regarding the Galaxy S25 cameras. From the possible inclusion of Sony camera sensors to the updated ultrawide sensor of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the camera situation of the Galaxy S25 series remains up in the air.
Adding to this growing pile of Galaxy S25 camera leaks, GalaxyClub has now revealed a few details regarding the shooters on Samsung’s 2025 flagships.
For starters, GalaxyClub claims that the base Galaxy S25 will retain the 50 MP main camera resolution of the Galaxy S24 (Available on Amazon). The publication doesn’t reveal anything about the main camera of the Galaxy S25+, so we can assume the device will also follow the Galaxy S24+ (Available on Amazon).
Similarly, the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ also reportedly feature the same 12 MP resolution on the front camera as their predecessors.
It needs to be mentioned here that while the resolution of the main camera of the Galaxy S25 and the S25+ may remain the same, Samsung could use new sensors in the phones. Additionally, we may also see the ultrawide and zoom shooters of the Galaxy S25/S25+ get a bump up to 50 MP each, as a previous rumor suggested that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will rock a 50 MP resolution on both the 3x zoom and the ultrawide sensor and the company could bring the upgrade to the entire series.
So, even if the Galaxy S25 and the S25+ fall in line with their forerunners, the devices can still bring substantial upgrades courtesy of improvements in other areas like a better sensor.
