GTA 6: 12 new screenshots show interesting details outside Vice City

With just three weeks to go until GTA 6's (available for pre-order on Amazon) scheduled launch on November 19, 2026, Rockstar Games has released 12 new screenshots. The images come from an exclusive cover story in British gaming magazine Edge, published online by its sister site GamesRadar+. Alongside fresh shots of protagonists Jason and Lucia, they reveal some intriguing details about the world beyond Vice City.
One image in particular stands out from the GTA 6 footage we've seen so far. It shows a motorcycle gang riding through a small town, apparently somewhere in rural Leonida. There are no towering skyscrapers or neon-lit streets in sight. The screenshot has been particularly well received by the community, with many fans looking forward to exploring the state's quieter, more remote regions.

The new screenshots also give us another glimpse of the swamps of Grassrivers. One image shows two armed men traveling through the wetlands on an airboat, suggesting that alligators won't be the only threat players might encounter there. The region promises a very different atmosphere from the busy streets of Vice City.
Another interesting shot takes us underwater, where a hammerhead shark can be seen swimming through the depths. We already know that players will be able to explore GTA 6's underwater environments with diving equipment. The hammerhead appears to be one of the more dangerous creatures they could encounter beneath the surface.
Most of the remaining screenshots focus on Jason and Lucia. There's also a new image of the police officer who has become the subject of a conspiracy theory among fans.
