The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is a chipset backed to rival the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for the title of highest-performance high-end processor for mobile devices in the near future. Now, a new leak purports to name the device that will be first to debut with the new silicon. It is backed to do so with a Zeiss-branded periscope zoom and a premium display - although its appearance is apparently bad news for other members of its series.

The OPPO Find X7 once ruled the roost on the AnTuTu benchmark thanks to its Dimensity 9300 chipset - however, its successor is now believed to come in 2nd at best when it comes to releasing smartphones powered by the upcoming 9400.

The Vivo X200 is now slated to beat it to launch, introducing the same chipset to the market in (probably) late 2024 in the process. It and the Find X8 are also tipped to rock periscope zoom cameras (just like their predecessors) and will most likely have displays of the on-trend ~1.5K resolution, according to typically knowledgeable leaker Smart Pikachu on Weibo.

Then again, its OPPO rival just might have the edge with a super-large battery, even larger than that of the current top-end Find X7 Ultra. However, the X200's victory might come at the cost of the recently-released X100s refresh.

Its successor, along with that of the X100s Pro, has apparently been cancelled by the OEM.

Accordingly, it might be a good time to grab what might be the last Xn00s flagship on TradingShenzhen, where a free 50W Vivo wireless charger with purchase is available with the code VIVO50 for a limited time.
