Epic Games has refreshed its weekly game giveaway, which now includes Chivalry II. Typically retailing for $39.99 on PC but available for $15.99 until today, Chivalry II can be downloaded for free until June 6 but only through the Epic Games Store.

The Epic Games MEGA sale continues for another few weeks. While most of its current promotions last until June 13, Epic Games is continuing its weekly tradition of giving away games for free. Throughout the last week, the storefront has kept Farming Simulator 22 discounted to $0.00, having offered Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition a week before that.

This time it is the turn of Chivalry II (curr. $18.59 on Amazon), a multiplayer hack-and-slash game that Tripwire Interactive released roughly three years ago. For reference, the PC version of Chivalry II averages 82/100 on Metacritic, compared to 85/100, 81/100 and 66/100 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 4, respectively. Incidentally, Torn Banner Studios recommends running Chivalry II on an AMD Ryzen 5 3500X or Intel Core i7-6700 and an AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU, as well as 16 GB of RAM.

Alternatively, the game's minimum requirements are an Intel Core i3-4370 paired with 8 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7870 2 GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. Please note that this week's free game will remain discounted until 14:59 UTC on June 6. Also, the deal only includes the game's base installation and not its King's Edition or Special Edition packages.
