Edge of Memories has been delayed

Nacon has pushed Edge of Memories back from November 5 to December 3, 2026. The action RPG still launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. In its October 15 announcement, Nacon said the later date falls in a quieter period that will let players discover the game at their own pace and fully appreciate it.

Updated Steam demo arrives in early November

Nacon will release an updated demo on Steam in early November 2026, but it has not named an exact day. The demo covers the opening hours of the adventure and reflects community feedback. According to Nacon, combat feels more dynamic and intense, and the build includes gameplay and accessibility improvements. The publisher also says it is confident the game is ready and that the extra month leaves room for further quality-of-life tweaks.

Pre-orders move automatically

Digital pre-orders transfer to the new date on every platform without any action from buyers. Physical orders placed through the Nacon Gaming website will arrive on December 3. Nacon advises anyone who ordered from another retailer to check with that store directly.

Midgar Studio closed before launch

Midgar Studio, the French developer behind Edge of Eternity, closed in July 2026 during Nacon’s financial restructuring. Nacon is still publishing the game. The official Edge of Memories account said in August that the creative work is finished and that a specialist team is completing the PC and console versions.

Game setting and soundtrack

Edge of Memories is a third-person action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5 and set on the continent of Avaris. Players control Eline, a young Soul Whisperer who travels the land healing people affected by a plague called the Corrosion. Cédric Menendez composed the soundtrack, with vocals from Emi Evans of NieR: Automata. Yasunori Mitsuda, known for Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles, wrote the final theme.

PC requirements

Nacon’s recommended specs call for an Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600 with 16GB of RAM. Graphics options are the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 with 8GB, AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT with 12GB, or the Intel Arc B580 with 12GB. The game needs 22GB of free storage.
