EZVIZ asserts that its latest pan/tilt (PT) outdoor Wi-Fi camera comes with double the security as it has double the lenses. Both of the H9c's cameras are rated for a resolution of 2K, although they have discrete zoom and wide-angle functions. Combined, the OEM backs them to achieve up to 2x the detail and an extended color night vision range compared to its predecessors.

EZVIZ touts its new H9c as a substantial upgrade over forebears such as the C8W Pro (now $89.99 on Amazon) thanks to the extra 2K lens it packs into the conventional pan/tilt (PT) form-factor. The 'top' wide-angle camera has a 240° range, as opposed to 360° in the 'bottom' telephoto shooter.

Accordingly, the H9c as a whole can technically surveil 2 different fields of view at once; then again, the dual lenses can work as one to zero in on a potential disturbance; for example, the camera can be programmed to turn its zoom lens on a moving human or vehicle on its detection by the wide-angle sensor.

The camera also has a full range of outdoor PT camera features such as remote 2-way talk; voice assistant integration for hands-free use; a siren, and intruder-deterrent spotlights. It also has "enhanced" dual-band antennas rated for Wi-Fi reception from up to 200 meters (~656 feet) away from a router.

The H9c also has the latest, 40-meter (~131 feet) version of EZVIZ' Colour Night Vision, and can be operated subscription-free thanks to support for up to 256GB microSD cards. It has been announced today (May 6, 2024), with full pricing and availability info to follow.
