Dyson has launched the WashG1 wet floor cleaner in Europe. The product is the first of its kind from the brand, arriving as a more premium model in its segment. Features include dual rotating rollers, separate waste tanks and a self-cleaning function.

The Dyson WashG1 Wet Floor Cleaner is now on sale in the EU. The home cleaning device was revealed late last year as the brand's first true wet and dry vacuum; the previous solution was the Submarine floor attachment used with the V15s.

The WashG1 has been designed to clean hard floors, tackling wet and dry dirt such as spills, hair and dried stains. There are two motorised microfibre rollers, clean water constantly flows to the end of the device to ensure dirt is not spread around the floor, and wet and dry waste is stored separately, which Dyson suggests is a more hygienic solution. On docking, the vacuum cleans itself with water and recharges, ready for its next job.

The wet-dry vacuum can run for up to 35 minutes on a single charge, which should be enough time to clean an area of around 290m² (~3,100 ft²). You can now buy the Dyson WashG1 Wet Floor Cleaner in countries like Germany for €699. This makes it a more premium model, but cheaper than the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro which typically retails for €899, but it currently discounted to €719. It remains to be seen when the product will launch in other markets, such as the US and the UK.
