Dreadmoor enters Steam early access on November 9 for $19.99. Here is what Dream Dock’s dark fishing adventure includes, how long it stays in early access, and the PC specs.

Dream Dock’s dark first-person fishing adventure Dreadmoor enters Steam early access on November 9, 2026. Publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment has set the base price at $19.99, with an optional early access Supporter Pack for $4.99. Planned prices are €20.49 in Germany and £17.75 in the UK, and the studio says the price will rise when the game reaches full release. Steam’s store countdown points to an unlock at around 13:00 UTC.

Fishing in a flooded wasteland

Dreadmoor puts players at the helm of a fishing trawler in a world drowned by a catastrophic human mistake. Coastal regions have sunk, leaving scattered settlements, ruins, and rotting wetlands. Players catch fish to trade, scavenge abandoned buildings, caves, and shipwrecks for scrap and blueprints, and fight mutated creatures in real time on land and water.

The catch also feeds the crafting system. You can dissect fish for organs and body parts that become lures and gear, and you need to watch the hold because stored creatures will eat each other. Boat upgrades include engine and propeller improvements, a reinforced hull, a searchlight, and an afterburner for short bursts of speed when danger closes in.

What early access includes

The early access build offers a complete core gameplay loop, one major region, an original story, and a wide range of fish species and mutations. Once the available story ends, players can keep exploring, fishing, and upgrading. Dream Dock expects the game to stay in early access for six to 12 months, with smaller content updates along the way. The full release is planned to add new areas, more fish species, new fishing mechanics, and further boat upgrades.

The game is single-player and supports 12 languages, with full voice acting in English and Russian.

PC requirements and Steam Deck

Minimum specs call for an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, an Nvidia GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 8 GB, and 8 GB of RAM. The recommended tier steps up to a Core i5-12400F or Ryzen 5 5600, an RTX 4060 or Radeon RX 7600, and 16 GB of RAM. Both tiers require Windows 10 or newer, DirectX 12, and 60 GB of storage.

Dream Dock says the free demo runs on the Steam Deck, though the game has not yet received an official Verified rating, so handheld players should expect further tuning during early access.
