A new Decathlon Van Rysel E-EDR AF e-bike has arrived in Europe. The latest model features a Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed electronic transmission group but is otherwise identical to older versions. Powered by a Mahle motor, you can ride with assistance for up to 100 km (~60 miles) and view journey statistics in an app.

Decathlon has launched another e-bike in the Van Rysel E-EDR AF range. The line-up already includes models with SRAM APEX AXS 1x12 transmission or a Shimano 105 11-speed groupset. Now, a range-topping version of the electric bicycle with a Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed electronic transmission group has arrived.

The new 12-speed E-EDR AF uses a Shimano 105 50/34 crankset with an 11-34T cassette and CN-M7100 chain. A 250W 40Nm Mahle X35 motor can assist you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph), and the 250Wh battery allows you to ride for up to 100 km (~60 miles). Plus, an optional range extender would let you ride with assistance for up to 160 km (~100 miles). The e-bike has a BC900 GPS computer showing information such as your battery charge and chosen assistance level. On top of that, thanks to Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, you can control the bike and view further journey statistics in the Decathlon Connect app.

Other features include 32 mm wide tires, a carbon fork, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 10 kg luggage rack. The e-bike has an aluminum frame, weighing less than 14 kg on average. The model is available in two colors, red and lilac. The red model features a Van Rysel Sport 900 saddle with frame sizes from XS to XL. The purple version has a Van Rysel Woman saddle and is offered in just three sizes: XS, S and M. You can buy the Decathlon Van Rysel E-EDR AF Shimano 105 Di2 2x12S e-bike for £3,199 in the UK, €3,179.99 in the Netherlands, or around €2,999.99 in other EU countries like France, Spain and Italy.
