Blackview MP100 launches as affordable mini PC with AMD Ryzen 7 and up to 64 GB of RAM
The Blackview MP100 is a new mini PC from the company, and it delivers a decent amount of power for the price. With the launch promo discount applied, you can currently get the 16/512 GB variant at $276.99 on AliExpress. The maxed-out configuration with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage currently goes for $341.60.
As for the specs, the MP100 brings an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U. It’s a relatively dated CPU, but with 8 cores and 16 threads, it still has what it takes to tackle most productivity and entertainment workloads. This processor can be paired with up to 3 TB of storage and to 64 GB of RAM (Crucial CL22 kit curr. $133.65 on Amazon).
While the APU does have an integrated GPU, it’s the AMD Radeon RX Vega 8. It won’t deliver the same level of gaming performance as the much-known Radeon 780M, but according to our benchmarks, it can run a fair number of games at 30 FPS or higher with the settings dialed down.
Speaking of performance, Blackview has integrated a capable cooling system into the MP100 mini PC. It is said to keep the components cool during load without getting too loud. To be specific, the company says that the noise level doesn’t go above 40 dB even under stress.
Besides, there’s a versatile array of connectivity ports. The mini PC has two USB-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB 2.0, one Ethernet, one DisplayPort, and one HDMI 2.0. There are WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 to take care of wireless connectivity needs.
Other highlights of the Blackview MP100 include a small 0.726-liter form factor, VESA mounting support, triple display out capability, and RGB lights. You can learn more about the mini PC from the spec sheet and images attached below.
