BMAX is probably not the best-known manufacturer of electronics in this country, but it is also active here. Last year we tested a mini-PC from the BMAX, and now the company has a new Android tablet on offer.
With the BMAX I11 Power, the manufacturer is likely to be targeting less demanding customers. The MediaTek Helio G99 is by no means a high-end SoC, although, for example, in the test of the Poco M6 Pro we were able to attest to the SoC's sufficient computing power for everyday use. The BMAX I11 Power also has a decent amount of RAM with eight gigabytes, and the 256 gigabytes of internal storage should also be sufficient for many applications.
The 11-inch IPS screen has a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels - however, BMAX does not advertise Widevine certification. The mobile phone connection is supported and the LTE band 20, which is relevant in Europe, can also be used. If the internal memory is not expanded, two SIM cards can also be used simultaneously. However, a 5G connection is not possible in any case.
Measuring 33.6 x 20.1 centimeters and 7.6 millimeters thick, the tablet weighs 500 grams and has a 13-megapixel camera. The front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. It supports GPS with A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo for navigation, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac for fast data transfer, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting a headset, for example. The 8,000 mAh battery can be charged with 18 watts. The operating system is the current Android 14. The tablet is available for direct import at a price of 169 euros, with the typical pitfalls of importing - such as import duties and problems with any necessary returns.
