Ahead of its full release on October 23, Apple's first-ever foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, has now appeared on Geekbench 7. The foldable performs on par with the iPhone 18 Pro siblings, potentially making it the best-performing foldable phone ever made.

After unveiling it alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max last month, Apple is finally geared to fully launch the iPhone Duo, with pre-orders beginning on October 16 and general availability scheduled for a week after. Ahead of that, though, the foldable has now been spotted on Geekbench.

The iPhone Duo surfaced on the popular benchmark platform earlier today, bearing the model ID "iPhone 19,4", Apple's A20 Pro chipset, and 12 GB of RAM. The foldable earned a single-core score of 3,986 and a multi-core score of 11,067 on Geekbench 7—perhaps not on par with the most impressive iPhone 18 Pro series runs on the platform, but close to the median regardless.

That indicates that the iPhone Duo can be expected to perform similarly to its candybar siblings with the A20 Pro chipset. It also means Apple's inaugural foldable launches as the most powerful foldable smartphone ever, with its closest rival at the moment being the Xiaomi 18 Fold, powered by Xiaomi's self-developed Xring O3 chipset.
