Anbernic has now released the RG Cube, its latest Android gaming handheld and a powerful alternative to the Powkiddy RGB30 (curr. $94.99 on Amazon). As we have covered previously, the company offers the device in Black, Beige White, Grey and Radiant Purple finishes, all with RGB-backlit joysticks. Incidentally, the latter has a few modes, including rainbow and breathing lighting effects.
Additionally, the RG Cube combines a 3.95-inch IPS display that outputs at 720 x 720 pixels with a Unisoc Tiger T820 chipset and 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. As a result, the device is said to be capable of comfortably emulating PlayStation 2 games at 1.5x their native resolution. Moreover, Anbernic has included 128 GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage, a MicroSD card reader and a 5,200 mAh battery that is rated for up to 7 hours of usage.

Currently, the company is selling the RG Cube at a $10 discount across all SKUs, which will last until June 11 at 10:00 UTC. For reference, the device comes in the following variants:
