Amazfit releases new update to popular smartwatch with multiple features and improvements

Amazfit has begun rolling out a new software update to one of its cheaper smartwatches. For context, the company released the T-Rex Dual Solar with up to 180 days of battery life a few weeks ago (curr. $649 on Amazon). Please see our launch article for more details about the company's latest high-end smartwatch.
Now, Chinese Smartwatches has noticed Amazfit offering a new update to the Bip 6. Launched over eighteen months ago, the Bip 6 is yet to be replaced by a direct successor. Instead, Amazfit has pivoted to the Bip Max, full details of which we have covered separately.
As for the Bip 6, Amazfit has added three new features with the release of firmware 4.6.0.3. For instance, the company has added Manual Rest support to its Pool Swimming algorithm. Moreover, one can now adjust this week's training plan within Zepp Coach.
On top of that, firmware 4.6.0.3 introduces activity data synchronisation across multiple devices. The new firmware should arrive as a circa 12 MB download. While Amazfit has not confirmed full rollout plans yet, it tends to take at least a few days to fully issue a new software update.
