Amazfit has shared more information about the upcoming Zepp OS 3.5 update for Cheetah Pro, Cheetah (Round), Cheetah (Square), Falcon and T-Rex Ultra smartwatches. The first details about the update were revealed as the company announced a beta testing program for this latest software.
Amazfit has confirmed that Zepp Flow 1.4 will be available on these smartwatches, though Falcon and T-Rex Ultra users must connect Bluetooth headphones with a built-in microphone to use the voice assistant. We already knew about the turn-by-turn reminders for track navigation, which could be used when hiking, though Amazfit has added that you will feel a vibration if you veer off route. An image of the new contour line maps has been shared (below), alongside a photo of a previously unannounced screen color-changing feature; you can select a green, orange or red display to reduce glare and protect your night vision.
Another development is support for a speedometer for cyclists, though a list of compatible devices has yet to be provided. Users can also expect the Zepp OS 3.5 software to include a readiness score, with Zepp Coach adapting your training plan accordingly. Plus, the watches will support heart rate variability monitoring, and there will be a new user interface. Zepp OS 3.5 updates for the Falcon, T-Rex Ultra, and Cheetah series smartwatches will be released in the next few weeks.
