Abxylute launches PS5 wireless controller with adaptive triggers

Just a few days after launching two new magnetic controllers for smartphones, Abxylute has announced a new controller for the PlayStation 5. The new gamepad is called the P5 Wireless Controller for PS5, and like PlayStation's DualSense controller, it has adaptive triggers.
The Abxylute P5 has a design that seems like a mix of the DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers. Available in black, it has a segmented D-pad, symmetrical Hall Effect joysticks, and action buttons with a unique twist on the triangle, circle, cross, and box symbols. The clickable touchpad is adorned with tiny PlayStation symbols, and instead of the PlayStation logo, there is a literal home button.
Abxylute's controller also has two programmable back buttons with macro support, a dedicated turbo button, and a six-axis motion sensor. The Abyxlute P5 has a 3.5mm audio jack with microphone support, but no speaker. It also has an RGB LED on the front for player indication.
With a weight of 285 grams, the Abxylute P5 has a 1,500mAh battery that is advertised as providing up to 8 hours of use. That is less than the almost 15 hours of battery life of the DualSense controller (CFI-ZCT2W). Abxylute says the controller supports wireless (no dongle required) and wired USB-C connections with the PS5, and is also compatible with Android, iOS, and PC.

The Abxylute P5 Wireless Controller for PS5 is available to buy now on the manufacturer's website for $75.99 until October 15, after which it will increase to its MSRP of $89.99. For comparison, the DualSense is priced at $74.99 but is currently available on Amazon for $67.61. Abxylute says its controller will begin shipping at the end of October.
