AOC launches new 4K gaming monitor with 180Hz Penta Tandem QD-OLED display

AOC has launched a new 4K gaming monitor in China, the U32G5D. It features a 31.5-inch Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel that's based on EL 3.0 technology. Samsung Display showcased this screen tech in February 2026, and a handful of monitors utilizing the Gen 3 OLED displays were also announced back then.
Getting back to the AOC U32G5D, the 31.5-inch QD-OLED display sports a native resolution of 3840x2160, and the panel has a 180Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 450 nits, the monitor should offer an enhanced HDR experience, and as the brand highlights, it has DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
The monitor supports Adaptive Sync and, with a 0.03 ms GtG response time, it should deliver a smooth, tear-free gaming experience. There's a decent selection of ports as well, including:
- 1x DisplayPort 2.1
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x USB-B upstream
- 1x 3.5mm audio
Other highlights include 100% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, an adjustable stand , VESA mount support (Wali triple-monitor stand curr. $69.98 on Amazon), and multiple gaming-focused features like PIP/PBP and game-based modes. In China, the promotional launch price of this QD-OLED gaming monitor is CNY 3,498, around $524. AOC has yet to share details on the global availability of the U32G5D.
