AMD Gorgon Point-powered Acer mini PC hits shelves with eGPU support and dual 2.5GbE ports

Acer introduced the updated Revo Box AI mini PC lineup at CES 2026. Recently, the Intel Lunar Lake model became available for purchase, and it performed relatively well in our in-depth review. Now, the AMD-powered configuration has hit the shelves.
This AMD configuration doesn't seem to have much marketing behind it, but it seems like a relatively capable mini PC for the price. It packs the Ryzen AI 9 465, an upper-mid-range option from the Gorgon Point lineup, and it comes with the Radeon 880M. This RDNA 3.5 iGPU is the successor to the Radeon 780M, but it can only handle moderate GPU-intensive workloads.
For use cases that might need more GPU power, the good news is that this mini PC has a USB4 port, bringing eGPU support (Bosgame RX 7600MXT eGPU curr. $655.49 on Amazon). Of course, that's the only Type-C port available on this system, which is a bummer, but the overall port configuration isn't bad. Besides the USB4 port, it has the following:
- 4x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x DisplayPort
- 2x 2.5GbE
- 1x 3.5mm audio
The dual 2.5GbE ports make this mini PC ideal for networking applications, but for those who might be interested in building a media server with it, the Intel-powered variant would be a better choice. After all, the Arc 140V iGPU has better media engines.
Other highlights include WiFi 6E, triple-display output support, fingerprint reader, and a compact overall form factor. The Revo Box AI with the Ryzen AI 9 465, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD is now available at Best Buy for $739.99, a decent discount from the $879.99 retail price. There's a Ryzen AI 7 445 variant available as well, which has a retail price of $799.99. Check out the pictures attached below to learn more about the mini PC.
