AGON GAMING C27G4ZXE: AOC releases new Fast VA gaming monitor with high refresh rate and 4,000:1 contrast ratio

Hardly any time has passed since AOC presented the AGON GAMING C27G2Z3/BK. Nonetheless, the company has supplemented its affordable gaming monitor series with the AGON GAMING C27G4ZXE, a curved example with a 1500R curvature. As its name suggests, not only is the C27G4ZXE curved, but it also spans 27-inches across.

Additionally, the monitor has a Fast VA panel that outputs natively at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1080p), which it complements with a 280 Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the C27G4ZXE offers 1 ms GtG response times, or 0.03 ms when measuring using MPRT, as well as Adaptive Sync VRR technology to mitigate image tearing. Moreover, AOC claims that the monitor delivers 300 nits peak brightness while maintaining a 4,000:1 contrast ratio.

As such, the C27G4ZXE sits slightly above the older C27G2Z (curr. $179.99 on Amazon) in the AGON GAMING series. Furthermore, AOC has included 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mounts, a Kensington Lock slot and an adjustable stand, but only DisplayPort 1.4, 3.5 mm jack and HDMI 2.0 ports. The AGON GAMING C27G4ZXE will be available from next month with a 3-year warranty. Although AOC has not shared a specific release date yet, it has confirmed that the monitor will retail for £219.99 in the UK and €269 in the Eurozone.
